WAL4XR is a inter-university research project that strengthens Wallonia’s excellence in Extended Reality (XR) by developing technological demonstrators co-designed with industry, grounded in real industrial needs and aimed at facilitating transfer toward concrete applications.
WAL4XR showcases industrial XR demonstrators developed in close collaboration with companies:
ARIANA (AR4Assembly – Nautilus): a mixed-reality solution supporting industrial assembly tasks. It provides step-by-step guidance, contextual information, and real-time assistance to operators, improving accuracy, efficiency, and training.
These demonstrators illustrate how advanced XR technologies, including immersive interaction, intelligent agents, and connected digital environments, can address real industrial challenges while preparing future technology transfer.
